Nawal, Women's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with her 2 daughters

A physiotherapist with more than 11 years’ experience, I was inspired to gain a deeper understanding of pelvic and reproductive health over 8 years ago after the conception of my first child.

I founded Self Physiotherapy as I noticed a gap in the South Australian market for pelvic health physiotherapy aimed at those experiencing low pelvic health literacy (with or without pelvic health dysfunctions).

My drive allows me to continuously exceed patient expectations and deliver the highest quality level of care. I am passionate about education, where I aim to empower people to feel autonomous and self-confident in the decisions about their body. I work closely with a collection of specialised health practitioners and, through continued education, ensure my clients are provided with the most up to date, evidence based, physiotherapy advice and management available for pelvic and reproductive health concerns.

I also work at the Women’s and Children’s hospital where I provide clinical support for all patients of gynaecological and reproductive concerns. This experience has given me the opportunity to take a holistic approach in providing healthcare to diverse demographics.
